Six Harelson students — Ethan, Ian, Josh, Soham,
Thomas, Zac — played three rounds at Doolen Middle School's K-6 League Match 2!
During Round 3, Team A’s Ethan, Soham, and Thomas played on the
second highest, highly competitive table.  Ethan scored 1.5 out of 3 games.  He lost to a player of higher rating.  Soham won 2 out of 3 and persevered in an
attempt to win the last game.  Thomas’
presence encouraged and inspired our team!
Team B comprised Ian, Josh, and Zac.  Josh played one of the toughest opponents in
Round 1.  Zac played quite well on his
first tournament scoring 2 out of 3 games on Board 3!  Ian won all three games and played a key role
in helping Team B earn first place!  He
took home an individual trophy and will also bring in Team B’s First Place
Trophy to school on Tuesday!
